DrugDev Named Best Place to Work by the Philadelphia Business Journal as Company Continues to Seek Talented Individuals to Join its Expanding Team

Innovative provider of technology-enabled solutions and active global investigators for clinical trials applauded for work environment, benefits, culture

AUDUBON, Pa. & LONDON-The Philadelphia Business Journal has named DrugDev one of its Best Places to Work in the Philadelphia region. The recognition continues the tradition established by CFS Clinical – the leading provider of global investigator payment, contracting and regulatory services – which had been named to the prestigious list each of the previous two years until it was acquired by DrugDev in October 2013.

“Our employees contribute a great deal to our culture, and together we’ve created an environment that supports their best work and creates a true work-life balance”

The award recognizes DrugDev’s positive work environment that attracts and retains employees through a combination of benefits, positive working conditions and corporate culture. The company, based in Audubon, PA and with a European headquarters in London, also acquired Boston-based TrialNetworks earlier this year. As DrugDev continues to grow, the company is actively seeking talented and dedicated individuals to join its team – view available career opportunities.

Hundreds of companies entered the competition. DrugDev earned a spot on the list because of the strength of its benefits and programs, as evaluated by its own employees.

Ibs Mahmood, President and CEO of DrugDev, said, “We’re grateful to earn this recognition from the Philadelphia Business Journal. This award has great meaning to us because our employees campaigned for us to win. Every day we work as a team to build on our culture of hard work, integrity, customer commitment and camaraderie, and it shows in our continued growth and market leadership.”

“Our employees contribute a great deal to our culture, and together we’ve created an environment that supports their best work and creates a true work-life balance,” said Kelly Morello, Vice President of Human Resources and Administration at DrugDev. “People are busy, so we want to help them manage daily tasks efficiently whenever we can. Therefore we offer benefits such as dry cleaning, on-site oil changes and other conveniences in addition to recognition programs including our Employee Appreciation Week. We are proud they feel so strongly about working here and we are committed to continuing to improve their experience every year.”

The Philadelphia Business Journal’s research partner, Quantum Workplace, tabulated the results of thousands of online surveys completed by employees to establish the rank order that will be revealed for the first time. Common themes among top companies focused on work-life balance; respect and caring for employees; recognition of accomplishments; feeling empowered; good teamwork and commitment to community. The Philadelphia Business Journal will announce top winners in its various award nomination categories at an awards program October 9 at the Sonesta Hotel Philadelphia.
